sedum telephium chocolate

Sedum telephium ‘Chocolate’ boasts striking bronze foliage above which dense heads of tiny, starry pink flowers appear from mid-summer through to autumn.

The flowers are highly attractive to pollinating insects on this low maintenance stonecrop which makes spreading carpets of fleshy, red-tinged leaves which will quickly colonise walls, border edges and rockeries. From mid to late summer, Sedum spurium Coccineum is smothered in clusters of hot pink, star-shaped flowers forming blankets of colour which provide useful groundcover in dry sunny spots on poor soil. Height: 10cm (4in). Spread: 50cm (20in).
