This little ground-hugging sedum forms attractive whorled rosettes of fleshy, evergreen, reddish-purple leaves covered with a white bloom.

This award winning variety provides superb groundcover of beautiful whorled rosettes of red-purple, fleshy, evergreen foliage. From May to July Sedum spathulifolium 'Purpureum' produces clusters of teeny, star-shaped, yellow blooms which are loved by pollinators. Ideal for gravel gardens, rock crevices and cracks in the pavement as well as making an excellent addition to a succulent collection planted in a terracotta pot on a sunny patio where it will take care of itself.
